Due to some health issues, the Fun Fly at Long Beach June 23rd-24th has been cancelled (as a formal event anyway).

Folks are still welcome to show up for an informal fun-fly, but the "games" that we had planned probably won't be happening.

If anyone is interested in the "purely fun" fly, I could bring the BBQ and do up some ribs. Any takers?

I hope to make it!

Are we going to be flying off the Syd Snyder approach?

OR....how about Ocean Park off Bay Ave? This one has great access, restrooms, and a great Ice Cream shop!

I think one of the main reasons this didn't get going earlier is because some other group already reserved the beach at Bolstad?

There's the doggie olympics on Saturday June 23, but that's a 1 day event.

Ocean Park sounds good to me, is the beach a little less crowded than Sid Snyder?

I would imagine we could talk the World Kite Museum into allowing us some in and out for the day, especially if I promise to buy WSIKF dinner tickets when I show up.

Just a thought, but I believe that Lincoln City has its Summer kite festival on those dates. If that's the right date, and you folks are up for it, how about flying there? I plan to attend.

YES!

It looks like we will be in Lincoln City!

We'll get there Friday afternoon and stay till Sunday.

Originally, Lam had a Red Bull date on the calendar for that weekend, but that has changed.
And since there's been a change in the LCVB....nobody asked TKS for Sponsorship this year, we'll just be there and play anyway!

See you there Resz!

Sounds great, T. There are already some primo invited fliers on the ticket, but with Lam as a "walk-on", it could only get better!

I hope to be there on the weekend. Anyone else?

We'll be there doing demo's. Practiced our old routine this past weekend so we would have more than one song to fly to

See you there.

See ya,
