A note on the nighthawk . . . this is possibly the easiest kite to TOTALLY stall out after a spin. In medium wind spin the kite with about half a armlengths difference between the hands (it spins like crazy by the way), equalize the lines quickly and the kite will just about fall out of the sky. I could not get the other two kites I tried this with (an STX 2.1 & a Prism E2) to do the same thing (they also rotate slower), especially the STX retained pressure all through the spin and stalled but just hung there . . . not much if any backslide.
