Picked up a couple of sails, now I am looking for the parts or technical details, to put the kites together and make ready to fly. The sails are a L'Atelier Lithium UL & Powerhouse MoonShot Standard. Any ideas?
Thankyou
Ed

Welcome!

Sounds like a fun project!

A bit of research and planning, and you'll have them flying soon!

The Lithium is framed in Skinny UL and SUL tubes. You will need measurements, not only the length of the tubes and standoffs, but where the APAs are placed and how the bridle is tied. Most 'spec' sheets don't give that detailed of info.
Best thing, is to have actual models to measure from. If that's not possible, draw out the diagram of the frame, and measure from the sail, where the cut outs are for the connectors. At least that's a start....and in the meantime...hopefully folks will contribute some dimensions and measurements for you.

Thanks Theresa! Will keep diging. Found reference to the powerhouse moonshot here, http://members.aol.com/justkites/powerhouse.html. The gentleman said he would look to see if he could find the parts. That was on 5/11. Figured I give him a month or so and then ask if he could 'measure' for me, using your email as a reference point as to what to ask for although I would think he would know.

As for the Lithium, L'atelier sent me to www.bilboquet.com. have not heard back from them. I figured I would keep searching for a shop in the USA, prefer to do business here in the USA, exchange rates, weak dollar, etc, so here I am.

Hopefully you will hear from L'Atelier/Bilboquet soon, and they can give you the specs for the Lith. We have all the rods and connectors in stock...call us when you're ready! smile.gif
