Hello,
I am new to this forum, and luckily found such a place. Yesterday I mistakenly let my brother-in-law fly my 22 year old Top Of The Line Hawaiian Spin Off. Attempt to fly is more accurate, as he just could not seem to grasp the concept, simple as it is. Anyhow I am now in need of a leading edge as he crashed it one time to many, and it cracked in the center. Not to worry, I have 4 other Top Of The Line kites including a Hawaiian Team Kite. But I hate to have this one sitting around unused, it is a great flier. The company seems to be out of existence as a search was unsuccessful. COuld it be they changed names? Might there be someone here that has parts? Thanks for any help. Think I will be around here awhile. Might be time to buy a newer, larger kite. I have seen some 10 footers on the net. |

Late model Spinoffs used .240 graphite rods for LE and Spine, earlier ones had Skyshark 6.3 rods. Two piece LEs - 32.5" - total length of 65". Theresa should be able to set you up. |

Thanks for the reply. I guess that would make mine an early, it was bought in the 86 to 88 time frame. I have not taken it apart yet, so do not know if it is two-piece or not. Also do not know if the ends are metal re-inforced. The cross bars have metal ends. |

Just give us a call at The Shoppe and we'll fix you up! Thanks! Theresa |

Theresa Are any of those Spin-Offs for sale, by chance? I would not mind having another different colored version. I am not sure as I have not dismantled it yet. But mine is pretty old, probably has those Skyshark 6.3 rods Pretty sure they are fiberglass, black with arrow nocks on the ends. I will give you a call later today. And thanks. |

I measured the parts yesterday.
The L.E. is one piece, 65 inches long, 66 if you include the arrow nock on the end. Also measures 9mm in diameter, almost .350 in. That is quite a bit larger than the .240 and 6.3mm mentioned above. |

Yes, we still have some repair parts for a Spin off.
As well as parts for other Top of the Line North Shore kites. Please note that there are several models, and different size spars and parts. If you call The Kite Shoppe and describe your kite and what needs replacing, we hope to be able to help you out! the diagram pictured may help you describe what part you need
