 How do you know you are ready for a Quad? |

This is my first post so if I have placed it in the wrong section I appoligize.
I have been flying my stunt kit, sorry it is in the garage and I can not remember the name, for most of 20 plus years. It has two lines. Last year, while at Long Beach, I watched the quad kites and become very interested in one. I see there is a Revolution that looks to be a great kite to start with and also advance with. It is the Rev 1.5 SLE I believe. Having never flown a quad I am wondering how to know when I am ready to move to a quad instead of my stunt. I still enjoy the strunt kite but if I am honest it has become a bit boring while when I was watching some of the things the people were doing with the Quads I got quite excited because I didn't see how I could do some of the things they were doing with my stunt kite. Maybe I can and just haven't figured it out. Anyway, I am interested in moving to a Quad but I don't want to buy one and then find out I don't have the skill needed to fly it. Any suggestions as to what skills I will need and as the tittle says how to know when I am ready for a Quad would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Midnight Shadow |

A Quad line kite is entirely different. Basically, nothing you can do with a dual line can prepare you for one. If you are interested in one, get the SLE, I think it is the best kite for learning quad line flying. Take the leap, you are as ready as you will ever be right now.
